This registered charity works with offenders, prisoners and their families in Lincolnshire and the surrounding area. The main focus of the Trust's work is resettlement and rehabilitation support including employability; accommodation; finance and debt; and children and families; and over 2,000 clients access our services each year.

They are looking for a Money Mentor to work on an exciting three year Big Lottery and European Union Social Fund funded 'Building Better Opportunities' Project, delivering intensive one to one and group financial inclusion assessment and advice, following a seven step process, to unemployed and economically inactive individuals in key, hotspot areas in the County of Greater Lincolnshire, with the aim of increasing their financial confidence and money and life management skills.

Their delivery of the project will be focused in Lincoln and Gainsborough primarily, part of an area-wide delivery partnership with a number of other local providers. The advice will be delivered to groups of clients over six tranches or 5-6 month periods throughout the three years of the role. They are looking for someone with experience of working with vulnerable people and delivering financial advice.

This new position is full time, although they would also welcome applicants who are seeking part-time employment. The post is offered on a salary of £22,500 per year (FTE). In addition, the Trust offers a 6% employer pension scheme via auto-enrolment and a minimum of 33 days annual leave per year including statutory holidays, increasing by one day per full year of service to a maximum of 38 days (pro rata for part time posts), a salary sacrifice scheme for childcare vouchers and a health and wellbeing service. The Trust is committed to ongoing professional development of all our staff and encourages individuals to participate in relevant training and development.

This post is funded until 30th September 2019.

The post is subject to an Enhanced DBS.
