Salary: £45,000 to 55,000 + Package

Location: Dorset 
 
A well-established Dorset based M&E building services contractor is looking for a commercially astute and confident Electrical Estimator. 
Technical knowledge of electrical installations and general contracting background is required. 
 
A great new opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Estimator to join the team. My client is looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator.

The role is 40 hours per week Monday to Friday and offers a negotiable salary, plus benefits depending on experience. The role also offers excellent career progression opportunities. 
  
The successful candidate will be expected to:

Manage the enquiry process with the supply chain and appraise quotations for both technical and commercial viability. 
Carefully vet all tenders to ensure that they comply with the clients requirements. 
Formally monitor progress of submitted tenders. 
Ensure that all tenders submitted include detailed terms of the items excluded as necessary. 
Prepare tender risk analysis. 
Attend pre-contract meeting and handover with PM team. 
Have the technical knowledge and skill to complete design and build project tenders. 
Develop and secure existing and new business relationships/projects 
 
The successful candidate will be:

Able to consider strategic and analytical issues. 
A positive team player. 
In possession of strong presentation and inter-personal skills. 
Experienced in tendering for a variety of electrical works from £50k up to £4million with a track record of successful bids. 
Strong in IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
