Fashion at Liverpool John Moores University is an established area of study and research, with classes in dress and textiles introduced as early as 1936. In recent years the course has established a firm reputation for producing innovative and creative designers who have secured a broad range of jobs within the fashion sector.
We seek an enthusiastic, proactive and experienced teacher who is committed to enhancing the student experience. You will have well developed critical skills and experience of teaching fashion and administrative duties.
You will be expected to make a broad contribution to the academic work of the School of Art and Design. In particular you will be expected to take an active lead in design, pattern cutting and realisation of garments on the design pathway.
You will be responsible for the organisation, delivery and assessment of elements of the BA Fashion Programme, which has routes in both Design and Communication. You will also be expected to contribute to the academic life of the School, Faculty and University.
