£7.30 per hour plus excellent benefits
37.5 hours per week (plus overtime if desired)
We are looking for a Support Worker to join our team based in North East
Leeds supporting four adults in their own home.
The people you will be supporting have learning difficulties and may also be wheelchair users. They may need supporting to eat and drink and prepare healthy and nutritious meals so cooking skills may be required.
They may need you to drive their vehicle so they can access their community with your support. They may have speech and language difficulties and you may need to support them to communicate with other professionals and their families.
The people you will be supporting have very active lives and enjoy activites such as carriage riding, hydrotherapy, adapted cycling, live music, bowling and many more! They may need support and encouragement to try new things and enjoy community life!
The current vacancy is full time hours, mostly working 5 days over 7, during the hours of 7am and 10pm.
The main duties of this role include:

What we need from you
You
need to have compassion, integrity and to treat people with dignity and respect.
You need to be reliable because people are depending on you, be able to
travel between locations and work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and
overnight as needed. You also need to be a great communicator, both
verbally and in writing and have basic IT and numerical skills.
