LOCATION: South Shields
JOB TITLE: Business Account Manager (Energy Broker)
SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP20 - GBP40K dependant on experience with OTE of GBP80K+ & 23 days holiday + monthly days out + onsite car parking +healthcare scheme
WORKING HOURS: Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week (flexible hours between 8am - 6pm)
THE COMPANY: We are currently working with an Energy Consultancy with over 40 years' experience. They specialise in reviewing businesses overall energy needs, this ranges from mis-sold contracts in the past to reviewing the present business needs and ensuring the right contracts are in place.They are currently recruiting for Business Account Managers to join their friendly team in South Shields.
THE ROLE: As a Business Account Manager you will be based within an office. You will be generating new clients by contacting businesses and managing the whole process from start to end by closing the deals.
Key Responsibilities of a Business Account Manager to include:-
THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will need to be a hard working individual who isn't afraid to pick up the phone. Ideally you will have experience closing your own deals however full training will be given. There is also an opportunity for Team Leaders to join the team so having experience in this field would be highly advantageous.

- Price negotiation and closing deals
- Build relationships with existing and new clients
- Deal with client referrals
- Conflict resolution and complaint handling
- Cross sell products to clients
THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will need to be a hard working individual who isn't afraid to pick up the phone. Ideally you will have experience closing your own deals however full training will be given. There is also an opportunity for Team Leaders to join the team so having experience in this field would be highly advantageous.
Key experience essential for the Business Account Manager role:
- Minimum of 6 months experience working as an Energy Broker
- Industry knowledge
- Has excellent customer service skills
- Lives within a commutable distance to South Shields
