HR Officer
Location: Bristol
Hours: Part time (30 hours per week to be worked over 5 days)
Salary: £20,000 (pro-rata)

The Company is a leading and growing provider of services for individuals with learning difficulties and mental health issues, offering accommodation based support to adults who need support to enable them to live in their own homes and access the community.
The Role:
Due to business growth the Company is looking to recruit a part time HR Officer to support with all areas of HR activity.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented HR Officer who can show that they are a 'self-starter' able to take on work without needing constant support. You will need to 'hit the ground running' in supporting the HR Manager and Senior Manager to ensure that an efficient and effective service is delivered to the business.
Based at the Company's Head Office in Staple Hill, this broad generalist role will focus on the entire employee life cycle - providing a pragmatic, professional and flexible HR facility, covering the management of extensive recruitment and induction programs, compensation and benefits, supporting in the management of employee relations, management of employee information and data and the underpinning administration involved in all of these tasks.
The HR Officer would be working closely with Senior Managers and Team Leaders across the organisation understanding the organisational goals and providing the required support to work towards these goals.
Reporting to the HR Manager there will development opportunities given the extent of involvement in all aspects of the HR function.
Qualifications and Experience required for this role:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a similar role, preferably within the care sector or other heavily regulated industries
- Strong up to date knowledge of Employment Law
- Able to work on your own initiative
- A sense of humour
- Excellent written and verbal communication and be able to influence others at all levels
- Excellent understanding and use of Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience of note taking in a variety of HR led meetings
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
