**An excellent opportunity for an experienced RPG Analyst/Programmer to join a global retailer with revenues of $113.7 Billion**

The role-holder will be responsible for the development, maintenance and support of company’s software applications (mostly written in RPG on the AS/400).

The successful candidate will be expected to:

> Have 3 to 5 years experience of coding in RPG/400, RPGLE and CL
> Participate in the full project life cycle: elicit requirements, assess feasibility, design, write code, test, implement and support ultimately take ownership of complex systems
> Ensure the company’s systems continue to aid the smooth running of the business
> Keep up to date with retail and technological advancements related to Company’s systems
> Assist in other areas of IS as necessary

RPG Analyst / Programmer Qualifications/Experience required:

> A logical mind and solid aptitude for programming are essential.
> The candidate must be a team player, self-motivated and possess good communication skills, both verbal and written. Attention to detail with good organisational skills and flexible attitude are required.
> Google Apps and Microsoft office skills are desirable.
