Field Electrical Maintenance Engineer /17th Edition Electrician

Job Title: Field Electrician

Location: Cambridge Area - Field Based

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 plus Van, Tools, and Phone

Job Role: Permanent, Full Time

Owned by the UK's largest supermarket, but operated as a separate convenience store business, the company is an ambitious organisation, with growth plans over the next 5 years that will see them opening new stores across the country. They currently have over 750 stores across England and Wales.

They currently require an Electrician to join the maintenance field team. The successful candidate will work with their stores to ensure that everything is operating to the highest standards whilst working within a fast paced and challenging retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned installation works, i.e LED lighting replacements, installations for refrigeration equipment (supply only)
• Undertake ECIR testing and subsequent remedial works whilst on site to a satisfactory and legally compliant standard
• Sign off for all ECIR and installation certificates within my region
• Carry out reactive calls across the region
• Operate safely and legally at all times and stores are compliant
• Achieve the best results through determination, energy & commitment
• Maintain a great working relationship within and across the teams

Key Requirements:

• Be fully qualified in 2391 C&G Testing and Inspection
• Be a qualified 17th Edition Electrician that will undertake Hardwire Electrical Condition Inspection Report testing on existing stores
• Work as part of a team to a planned program
• Have initiative and be a clear communicator
• Be a well organised individual with effective time management skills
• Full UK Driving License
