Hair and Beauty tutor
Immediate start - December 2016
We are looking to recruit a tutor/teacher/instructor to be able to deliver Level 2 hair and Level 2 beauty qualifications with exam boards NCFE, BTEC and VTCT. Level 2 courses are taught in years 9, 10, 11 and 12. Schemes of work and lesson plans are already prepared.
Successful candidates should have extensive knowledge of the education sector
You must hold a DTTLS or PCGE
Candidate must have teaching qualifications.
Candidate must have industry experience.
Responsibilities Include:
Teach and help learners with practical assignments and guidance in a classroom style setting.
Assist with the assessment and monitoring of students.
Complete all administrative work concerned with the assessments to required standards.
Keep and maintain accurate records of assessments in candidate's logbooks as well as in Company documents and retrieval systems according to the Company and awarding body requirements.
Provide prompt and constructive feedback to learners as soon as possible after any assessment.
Make sure that assessment strategies used are inclusive (regardless of gender, age, origin, etc.) and are fair, reliable, current, valid maintaining consistency in assessment decisions.
Co-operate with the Internal Verifier to carry out Verification as required.
To undertake any other routine task, as required by senior staff.
