Our client is the trade association for pharmacy professionals in the UK.

Joining them as an Account Manager, you will be responsible for the development and management of their membership base, customers and associates across the North West in order to grow membership and engagement, maximise profitable sales growth and develop revenue for other commercial services.  

Monitoring and understanding the needs of different members, their business strategies and operations and developing member strategies to meet their needs and our business objectives, you will track and analyse membership retention targets, sales revenue, profit targets and other KPIs to ensure targets are being achieved; proactively developing solutions to address underperformance or maximise growth opportunities.  

Using a consultative and solutions based approach to build strong relationships, you will assist in the successful launch or development of commercial/business projects by communicating new developments, services, resources and insights to members to build engagement and help members understand the value that membership delivers. 

 

With excellent selling and negotiation skills, significant account management experience and a sales background, you must have an awareness of the commercial and political issues affecting community pharmacy and be a confident self-starter who is extremely results focused.

Member focused and commercially driven, you must be enthusiastic, energetic and professional and have strong presentation and communication skills.  Knowledge of the Pharmacy market place would be an advantage but is not essential.
