Our client provides cutting-edge water treatment services to customers throughout the UK and Ireland. They are now looking for an Area Manager to join their team.

As an Area Manager, you’ll be tasked with promoting our client’s water treatment products and services to customers throughout Manchester and the M62 corridor. 

Specifically, you will develop business opportunities within your region to deliver year-on-year growth. You’ll visit customers’ and prospective customers’ sites to conduct chemical analyses. 

Developing existing accounts, you’ll provide customers with a high level of support and ensure that any issues are swiftly resolved. 

You will create and implement an area development plan to maximise revenue. Additionally, you’ll submit accurate, timely reports to both customers and Head Office. 

To be considered, you must have: 

- Experience with water treatments 
- A degree (or equivalent) in chemistry or a related discipline 
- A full driving licence and access to your own transport 

Analytical and organised, as an Area Manager, you must have superb interpersonal and communication skills. You must also be a positive team player who can build strong relationships with customers. 

Knowledge of cooling towers, ACoP L8 and/or HSG274 would be a distinct advantage, but is by no means essential.
