Due to continued success within these sectors, our client is looking to recruit a new Project Manager to join their evolving team Project Management based in the Head Office in Newbury.

You would be responsible for managing all aspects of the project lifecycle from project engagement to implementation. The ideal candidate would have experience of successfully managing Technology related projects within the hospitalityor large SME environmentsusing varied Project related tools and methodologies. You would also have the ability to lead multi-skilled staff in a changing technological environment and work without supervision on time critical projects.

Applicants must be accomplished with the ability to design and execute effective process, software and project delivery strategies along with roadmaps dictating the lifecycle of the project.Experience of driving change management, delivering business transformation and being a highly effective communicator all benefit this role.

Skills/Experience

  • Proven Project Management or high level PMO role preferably within the Technology and or the Hospitality industry
  • Capability to monitor the projects from initiation through to delivery, ensuring full interaction with customers on all matters and providing status reports as necessary
  • Can assess projects risks and issues, develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality and customer satisfaction
  • Updates project software system, Account Managers and stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the projects and serves as a focal point between line management internal and external resources
  • Can conduct project meetings and is responsible for all project deliverable
  • Positive sponsor, stakeholder and supplier/partner feedback
  • Has tracked and reported all areas of project budget and forecasts throughout the life of the project
  • Ensures that project delivery meets quality and timeline expectations
  • Manages the project transition into support to ensure acceptable training knowledge transfer and operational readiness
  • Plan and oversee acceptance testing and transition to support and creates specification for systems to meet business.
  • Coordinating all the project administration
  • Keeping track of all project related drawings, quotes, correspondence and approvals.
  • Administering of site agreements
  • Risk & compliance management and how important this is to project development.
  • Manageability, takes direction and provide proactive constructive support
  • Expectations – manages management and delivery expectations to ensure project success

Our client has many projects they are aiming to cover over the next few years; some consist of hotel development of a considerable scale and as such require an ambitious person either from an existing PM position or a high level PMO aiming to progress development and skills in the technology sector.

 

As a Project Manager you must be understanding of operational business processes, a self-organiser with a practical and logical approach to business problems and issues, a problem solver, with an organised mind. To be flexible and to be confident and assertive when necessary
