Position: Desktop Support Engineer
Location: Manchester
Salary: £20,000-£24,000 + Bonus according to experience.
Due to the organic business growth in recent years for one of our key client, they are looking to recruit a Desktop Support Engineer for their Manchester office.
The Role & Responsibilities:
You will be involved in a variety of duties including:
• Have 2+ years' Service Desk / Desktop Support experience
• Have experience is supporting and working with Active Directory 2008, Exchange 2010 and Office 365
• Supporting, configuring and deploying Windows 7/10
• Supporting, configuring and deploying Mac OSX 10.6 and above
• Supporting Microsoft Office 2013
• Proactively working to improve internal processes
• Pro-actively identifying potential problems and issues on customer sites
• Identification of potential opportunities to replace or implement new solutions
Key Skills and Experience
· Very good English communication skills.
· Great customer service skills.
· 1st, 2nd & 3rd line IT helpdesk support.
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems with emphasis on Windows 7, 8, 10.
· Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
· Self-motivated, well organised.
· Good IP networking skills.
· Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve Windows system and software related issues.
· Printer setup, management and driver configurations.
