Telecoms Engineer

The key objective of this position is to ensure first class installation and servicing of PBX Equipment. This role will entail installation, maintenance, project engineering, support and remote diagnostics, mainly on Aastra/Mitel product ranges, applications and peripherals.

Required Experience:

Installation & Maintenance of:
- Voice over IP Telephony
- Hosted Telephone Systems
- Unified Communications
- CAT5e/6 Network Cabling

Preference is to have Aastra/Mitel experience, although others will be considered.

Desired Skills:

- This is a customer facing role so the candidate must have proven experience dealing with customers
- The candidate must be professional in both manner and appearance at all times
- The candidate must have the ability to work under pressure, on their own initiative and as part of a team
- Good time keeping and communication skills are imperative
- The candidate must have the ability to liaise with staff and clients at all levels

The candidate will be based from our Essex office with the bulk of the installations in that area with the possibility of installations across Scotland and England. Company Vehicle, Mobile and Laptop will be provided. A clean licence is required (a maximum of 3 points would be acceptable).
