Junior Software Tester - Windows

My client provides acclaimed software solutions to the financial services sector using state of the art cloud based technology.
They are looking to add a software tester to their team based in Witham, Essex - which is an easy commute from the surrounding towns such as Chelmsford, Braintree, Maldon and Colchester.

In this position you will write manual test scripts and provide testing support to the development team.
This is a new role within the company and as such you will have the chance to put your own mark on the process.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Preparing and writing test cases based on development specifications.
- Performing manual testing.
- Defining and managing automated tests where possible.
- Documenting and communicating findings, including analysis of bugs.
- Building excellent working relationships with Development and the rest of the Team to ensure the highest possible quality.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

- 6 months+ Manual Software Testing experience.
- Working knowledge of Automated Testing is an advantage but not a requirement.
- Knowledge of programming languages will be an advantage but you will not be expected to write any code
- Experience with the Windows operating system.
