Science Technician (Physics)

Are you an experienced Science Technician looking for work in the education sector? Do you have experience of working or studying Physics? If so I would like to hear from you.

I am looking to recruit a Science Technician with a Physics background for one of my Sixth form colleges in the Wakefield area. This is to support a sudden change within the department and initially this will be a temporary position to cover an immediate absence however due to this change within the department it could lead to something more permanent in the near future. The college are looking for someone to start as soon as possible and are keen to see CVs and profiles of suitable candidates immediately.

The College received an overall grade of "Outstanding" in the most recent Ofsted Report and they pride themselves on employing teachers that will continue to deliver the courses to a high level so that students excel in their learning and the retains it's reputation for being outstanding. The College is in a great location to commute to from Leeds, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Selby, York and the surrounding areas.

Requirements:

• Experience of working as a Science Technician ideally in the education sector
• A minimum of a GCSE in Physics however A Level or anything above is desirable
• Passion and enthusiasm for Physics and work as a Technician
