As our Team Leader you will proactively lead a team of Warehouse staff within the relevant department.
Key Tasks and Accountabilities of a Team Leader include:
- Manage the staff effectively within the department with particular emphasis on performance to target.
- Effectively plan/manage the workload of the team and ensure that work is delegated to the team efficiently.
- Report effectively on performance to your Supervisor as directed.
- Ensure processes are adhered to and promote accuracy within the department.
- Undertake staff training and development as required, including new starters.
- Manage staff performance effectively with support from your Supervisor.
- Manage and utilise effectively MHE i.e. F.L.T’s etc.
- Ensure good housekeeping / health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times.
- All other tasks as required for the successful accomplishment of the duties of a Team Leader.
To become our Team Leader you must have the following skills and experience:
- The ability to be organised and accurate while working in a busy environment.
- Excellent communication skills, ensuring you can communicate with all key stakeholders in a professional manner
- The ability to make decision and to use own initiative.
- Excellent knowledge of warehouse processes
- A good understanding of excel and Microsoft office.
Bolton is commutable from Blackburn, Wigan, Rochdale, Manchester, Leigh, Stockport, Oldham and surrounding areas.
