The company is the world's leading provider of point of care systems in healthcare. They are driving clinical and management efficiency through a range of value added services for healthcare providers.

Working closely with Product Management, Development and Implementation teams as well as all of the Patient Flow System Customers both UK and internationally. This role requires an in depth knowledge and understanding of XML (Extensive Markup Language).

The Junior Technical Services Data Analyst will handle vast amounts of data through the data management systems, whilst being involved in overviewing and assisting software updates defined by the Development team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define, manage, update, test and deploy XML based assessment forms as part of the Patient Flow Systems provided by Hospedia.
• To understand datasets required by the company's clients.
• Define new XML datasets for future deployments.
• Identifying parameter changes or inclusion of new parameter configurations to define and manage client datasets for successful implementation.
• Manage all client XML datasets for all deployed Patient Flow Systems both UK and internationally.
• Test and validate XML dataset configurations prior to the deployment to client enterprise environments.
• Oversee the installation and updates of all client Patient Flow System solutions to determine successful deployment.
• Manage the process of data gathering, analysis, interpretation as defined by Product Management and the client presenting data findings using tools such as Crystal Reports, QlikView and other reporting tools.
• Respond to client queries for reporting requirements with proposed solutions.
• Assisting with the deployment of Patient Flow System installations and updates from a dataset XML standpoint.

Key Requirements:

• Developer level experience in XML analysis and scripting.
• Strong understanding of the XML data structure of Patient Flow Systems.
• Strong XML analytical skills in organising, analysing significant amounts of data and scripts with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong experience in working with database platforms including MSSQL, MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Strong experience in the use of third party report writing tools such as Crystal Reports, QlikView, Microsoft Excel/Access and Jaspersoft.
• Data Analysis experiences in trends, anomalies, demographics, issues, gathering and reporting.
• Strong understanding of the data structure, data compatibility and data extraction processes.
• IT proficient with a qualification in a related field such as IT, Software Engineering, Analysis, or Statistics, etc..
• Experience in healthcare and/or NHS environments in data analysis based role highly advantageous.
• Ability to use own initiative, solve problems, multitask, ensure attention to detail, ensure accuracy and prioritise workloads in a pressurised environment.
• Good interpersonal skills allowing you to work closely with both colleagues and customers.
• Ability to travel occasionally to UK client sites.
