JOB TITLE: Operations Manager

WORKING HOURS: Full Time - 40Hours

We are pleased to be working with our client who is the UK's leading provider of integrated cash handling services, transporting, storing and processing cash for a wide range of customers, is looking for a target-driven, influential and methodical Operations Manager to join their senior management team.



Your key responsibilities will see you identify, set and monitor improvements/cost savings and work closely with the CCM to push forward improvements within the centre. You will continually build up and gain knowledge of the Centre's finances and reports, while also liaising with other departments, branches, customers and suppliers, to resolve issues and maintain security and service.



Managing and developing your team effectively, including monitoring all KPIs and producing action plans to correct under performance will be essential, as will be driving the delivery of best practice and improvements in cost, service and delivery and planning staff resources to satisfy the requirements of each department/shift.



The ideal candidate will have a process or manufacturing background with demonstrable approach to continuous improvement (CI). You will be driven, self-motivated with the ability to drive your team to achieve and exceed targets. You will be proficient in the management of high volume sales data and be able to present this information clearly.



Key skills and experience:-


  • A detailed understanding of Continuous Improvement / Lean methodologies
  • The ability to define, measure and analyse processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and manage projects to verifiable completion
  • First-class numeracy and attention to detail, with a proven track record in budgetary (P&L) capability
  • Excellent line management experience, including the ability to engender a strong team ethic amongst direct reports and colleagues
  • Ability to self audit and drive compliance through others with a regulated environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and IT skills, particularly Excel and Access.
