Our client is a global manufacturer of specialist multi-utility products with facilities in Europe, Asia and Africa and operations in at least 30 countries. They are now looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their team.

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be tasked with providing a front line maintenance service to the Production function. 

Working in a safe and efficient manner, you will perform a range of planned and corrective maintenance on our client’s plant and equipment used to manufacture plastic fittings. 

Additionally, you will help to identify ways to continuously improve the manufacturing process. 

To be considered, you must have: 

- Diagnostic and fault-finding experience covering engineering systems that include PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics and standard electro/mechanical installations 
- A good level of IT literacy
- The ability to read and understand technical drawings across the electro/mechanical spectrum

Flexible and reliable, as a Maintenance Technician, you must be a good communicator with excellent problem-solving skills. A positive ‘can do’ attitude and strong work ethic are also key. 

Please note, the working hours for this role are 38 hours per week, working three rotating shifts as follows: Sunday – Friday, 22:00 – 6:06, Monday – Friday 6:00 – 14:06 and Monday – Friday, 14:00 – 22:06.
