We are looking for a skilled PHP developer with a solid and experienced development background to be part of our team as the company continues to grow.

The PHP Developer role:

You must have excellent technical capabilities and a good understanding of software architectures and design patterns, and so be able to contribute to the latest innovations and new products we are creating. With frameworks, libraries and techniques such as Symfony2, Doctrine, AngularJS being integrated into our development there will be plenty of opportunity for the role to grow and you to expand your skill set. 

For nearly 20 years we have been providing our Clients with digital alternatives to paper invoicing and collection processes. Our Clients look to us to provide ever more complex digital solutions both to improve cash flow and to create exceptional Customer experiences. Our Clients are mainly large National and International Blue Chip companies and household names, but we also serve many SMEs.

We are currently involved in an extensive £1m systems and solution upgrade, incorporating exciting and innovative new products. These new solutions will give us a real competitive edge over all others in this field, and you will be part of both maintaining existing solutions and with input into our upgraded solutions.

Located on the Oxfordshire/Wiltshire borders, we are a privately owned company with a drive to succeed. The business continues to grow year on year, we are a company of c 40 people and growing. The developer roles are very secure and provide exciting and innovative opportunities.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

> Software development
> Work with team on maintaining all systems architecture and infrastructure, external and internal, supported by our hosting company.
> Work methodically within our processes to help improve and maintain the highest levels of quality assurance.
> Contribute to the development process in a proactive and responsive manner in a PHP development environment as well as mastering our current programming practices and processes.
> Provide additional support and mentoring using any specialist skills you can bring to the team.
> Assist with all levels of documentation, specification, design and testing.
> Contribute to assisting service delivery.
> Aid the Sales Team and Account Managers with technical queries and solutions particularly when specifying job requirements and solutions

Essential skills & experience:

Language: PHP, JavaScript

In depth knowledge of the following: Symfony 2, Doctrine, HTML, CSS, XML, MySQL, Apache, SVN, Linux

Methodolgies: Agile/Kanban

Skillset: Analysis, OO design specification, Programming, Mentoring & training, Documentation
