Job Title: Customer Service Advisor

Location: Cheadle, Manchester (SK3 0UX)

We are the largest third-party accident management and claims handling provider in the UK; serving insurers, brokers and fleet operators by providing a wide range of claims handling solutions across the motor, property and legal claims sectors.

Currently looking for a passionate and motivated individual to join the team in the role of Customer Service Advisor; this is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in the accident management industry. To be successful you will need to have the drive required to meet and exceed customer expectations, build internal and external relationships and deliver excellent customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To provide excellent customer service to our Clients
  • Negotiating with insurance companies
  • Identifying and resolving potential fraud, repudiation and voidance
  • Making all liability enquiries necessary to allow you to negotiate settlement of Customer claims on the best possible terms
  • Keeping the policyholder informed both verbally and in writing of the status of the claim
  • Carrying out administration on files
  • Accurate record keeping to allow effective file review and audit
  • Handling telephone and email queries from clients and policyholders
  • Handling customer complaints in line with Company guidelines

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience working within a call-centre environment, customer service and/or insurance - advantageous
  • Professional and polite telephone manner
  • Basic computer literacy and typing skills

Desirable:

  • Commercial insurance experience
  • A background in customer relations or experience of conflict resolution
