Job Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen as we are currently in the beginning stages of re-designing our Intranet and are looking for an experienced Intranet Manager. You will need to hit the ground running and take this project forward from the design and requirements stage through to delivery in addition to managing the current intranet

Key Requirements:

  • Develop and deliver an intranet strategy that will also benefit our Company targets
  • Work with stakeholders and project teams to deliver the re-developed intranet
  • Work collaboratively with the Internal Communications team to support their objectives, and on-going idea for improvements and create a content strategy that benefits the users
  • Maintaining the intranet's brand image, overseeing publishing and management of content
  • Ensure the UX/UI experience benefits the users
  • Editorial control across the Intranet to ensure content is in line with the content strategy, communication standards and Affinity Way guidelines
  • Conduct regular content reviews to ensure content is kept up to date, relevant and appropriate
  • Engage with stakeholders to fully utilise the intranet, maximise efficiencies and improve business processes
  • Use analytics for management reports to show the effectiveness of the intranet and on-going idea for improvement
  • Liaise with the IT department about developments and maintenance representing the business user
  • Keep up with the latest intranet trends and technology
  • Provide training and guidance, develop documentation to support intranet users.

Competence / Knowledge / Skills required:

  • Experience of managing an internal intranet
  • Good experience of SharePoint 2013/Online
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office 365 collaboration tools, Skype for Business, Yammer, Delve
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders
  • Excellent copy writing skills
  • Training experience
