Trade Counter and Warehouse Assistant
Chelmsford, Sheepcotes Industrial Estate
Our client is part of a Group, based in Leeds and the country's leading distributor of floor covering in the UK. Their customers are independent retailers and contractors located throughout the country on established sales areas.
They currently have a vacancy for a Trade counter and Warehouse Assistant. This opportunity and vacancy will be based at our Chelmsford depot on the Sheepcotes Industrial Estate
Duties will include
- Assisting customers on our trade counter with sales and collection of goods
- The processing of orders over the telephone so communication skills are a priority
- Picking Goods ready to be delivered by our distribution team
- Receiving goods in
- Stock control
- Checking off returning vehicles
- General up keep of the trade counter and warehouse
Knowledge of floor covering is not essential but would be an advantage.
