Recognised as the leading specialist in volume legal services, there are a number of exciting opportunities to join our growing Litigation team on a full time, permanent basis delivering an excellent customer journey for our clients’ customers through a bespoke, best-in class service. 

Your role

As a qualified Litigation Executive, your role would be to handle defended/complex litigation matters within a high volume consumer, small claims environment. The role is deadline driven and candidates would need to demonstrate strong organisational skills to carry out tasks such as:

• Proactively manage complex or defended cases in order to resolve disputes, mitigate costs and protect ours and our clients brand through the litigation process
• Ensure all deadlines set by Court, our client or by your line manager/Senior Solicitor.
• Effectively instruct Advocates in relation to attendance at hearings
• Drafting of witness statements and general customer and third party correspondence
• Liaising with clients to ensure that the appropriate evidence is obtained to support defended actions

  Key requirements

• 1-4 years PQE either CILEX or Solicitor
• You must be eligible to work in the UK.

  Skills

• Sound technical knowledge of legal issues around consumer credit and collections
• Excellent commercial understanding and decision making
• Ability to identify and achieve solutions to problems and disputes
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Understanding of regulatory obligations under SRA and FCA requirements
