Abtech Limited has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Sales Engineer to join the team Field Based. You will be on a full time permanent contract, with a highly competitive salary £26,000 + uncapped commission and £33,500 OTE, Company Car & Benefits.
We are looking for a proactive, self-motivated Technical Sales Engineer to maximise sales revenues for Vision Systems in the North area. With strong communication and negotiating skills, you will develop new and existing customer relationships to generate business and meet sales targets.
Job Role
- To effectively manage an assigned geographical area to meet personal, team and company targets and objectives.
- To provide technical sales support to customers and to maximise sales revenues for Vision Systems.
- To be responsible for developing new business opportunities, whilst optimising business relations with existing customers.
- Throughout the role there is a need to provide first class customer service by responding to all customer enquiries professionally and within the agreed timescales.
As our Technical Sales Engineer you will be selling to current and prospective clients, following all lines or sales enquires and providing information and guidance to customers directly on vision systems from a technical point of view.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintaining and increasing sales of Vision Systems, proactively increasing business opportunities
- Establish, maintain and expand the customer base
- Answer technical questions on specific products to help a customer clarify the suitability of the product
- Problem-solving with customers on technical sales details
- Service the needs of all existing customers
- Work closely with the Internal Sales Team to ensure customer satisfaction
- Contribute to the development of sales strategies
- Compile and analyse sales figures
- Collecting customer feedback and market research
- Provide regular feedback to the Technical Director
- Keeping up to date with products and competitors
- Keep up to date with any changes to products, pricing etc, to ensure the information you provide is accurate and relevant
The successful candidate to become our Technical Sales Engineer will have a working knowledge of manufacturing environments, previous sales experience and a technical background. The successful candidate will receive full training.
