Administrator/Data/Timetabling

With an immediate start on an ongoing basis my client school based in North Leeds is looking for an administrator to support with timetabling. M must have knowledge of SIMs and T6 software.

Timetabling support:
To provide administrative support in the production, administration and development or the timetable using NOVA T6 & Options software.
Entering NOVA T timetable data, provide students and staff with timetables for start of academic year and throughout the year as requested
Keep the timetable up to date as amendments are made, assist with entering student timetables, making adjustments and producing reports as necessary, including data entry
Print all timetables for staff and students
Produce tutor group lists and class lists and keep them regularly updated
Keep timetable amendments up to date, making adjustments and producing reports as necessary
Carry out the SIMS Year-end rollover
Re-room lessons as required
Provide accurate lists for staff as required
Provide other support to the timetabler, as requested.
Work with the timetable to ensure that the academic and pastoral structure of the timetable are kept up-to-date in SIMS throughout the year.
To ensure a full understanding of SIMS in order to provide support to the Data post holders and the Exams Officer.

Administration:
Provide general office and Reception duties and support with the smooth day to day running of the office
Responding to staff enquiries
General word processing, photocopying, filing etc.
To ensure visitors, staff and students are dealt with courteously, either when telephoning or calling at reception

Other:
Input and produce data regarding Year 9 Guided Choices, liaising with SLT and Curriculum Leaders and work with the member of staff with responsibility for Guided choices.
Input all Options forms for the appropriate year groups and provide analysis of option numbers
The role and responsibilities will continually develop and change to respond to the demands of the school.
To be an effective member of the Non-Teaching staff School Team and provide support and assistance to other staff as required.
Any other relevant and appropriate activities at the Head?s discretion

Experience of using SIMS and NOVA T6 software packages (desirable but full training will be provided)
Ability to adapt to new work demands, working practices and technology
Ability to work to deadlines in a busy reactive environment
Ability to work with minimum supervision & work on own initiative
First Aid certificate or be willing to be trained would be desirable but not essential.
