We are the largest third-party accident management and claims handling provider in the UK; serving insurers, brokers and fleet operators by providing a wide range of claims handling solutions across the motor, property and legal claims sectors.

We are currently looking for a passionate and motivated individual to join their team in the role of Customer Service Advisor; this is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in the accident management industry. To be successful you will need to have the drive required to meet and exceed customer expectations, build internal and external relationships and deliver excellent customer service.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To deal with general claims queries and advising the client accordingly promoting the Credit Hire and Repair advising of those best suited to the customers' needs.
  • To follow the process flow throughout the life of the claim.
  • Efficiently dealing with written and verbal communications, both internal and external.
  • To ensure all calls are answered within the specified service level agreement.
  • To compile statistical information as required and prepare reports as necessary.
  • Accurately maintain records of customer contact and diarising follow up contact.
  • Accurately deal and liaise with other internal departments on any associated queries raised.
  • Liaise with other departments and employees as appropriate to ensure the efficiency of the recovery process.
  • Developing good working relations with all contacts in order to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Always working towards achieving department/personal SLA's and targets.

Essential Competencies:

  • Previous experience working in a call-centre environment, customer service and/or insurance
  • A positive and self-confident approach when dealing with customers and clients
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work well under pressure
