Long term teacher of Geography to work in an Outstanding Academy in the Leeds/Wakefield area commencing January 2017
This outstanding school are looking for a dedicated teacher of Geography to join their successful department. You should be innovative in your curriculum development and initiatives that promote high quality teaching and learning strategies. You should have exceptional planning skills, outstanding behaviour management skills and be able to adapt your teaching to deliver lessons in a variety of teaching and learning styles. Your main role will be teaching KS3 and GCSE groups and you must have experience of this in a UK school. A Level experience is desirable but not necessary.
This is a school of 1850 students on roll, including more than 300 sixth formers and a staff of 124 teachers, plus 101 support staff. The school is set in its own extensive grounds and has the staffing, facilities and courses available to educate students to university entrance level.
The school has a great ethos and try to create a balance between the various academic, intellectual, spiritual, cultural, social, community, musical, athletic and career demands on young people.
