Right now, our client is looking to fill x2 full time kitchen porter positions available in one of their most prestigious hotels. With a four-star hotel, two golf courses (The Oaks and The Acorns), a leisure centre, spa, busy clubhouse and two restaurants, they have some great career opportunities available ahead of what promises to be a bumper year.

As one of the most prestigious venues in the South-West, our client is experiencing unprecedented high volumes of business. If you feel that you can contribute, please read the following job description.

Live out would be great but own transport essential because of location, and not on a bus route.

Our client does have live in accommodation, but will need to be a couple. 10 minute walk down to village.

As a kitchen porter your duties will include:

  • Ensuring basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible.
  • Collecting and washing up pots and pans.
  • Cleaning food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery.
  • Unloading food and equipment deliveries.
  • Keeping the storeroom organised.
  • Keeping work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised.
  • Keeping the kitchen clean to a high standard
  • Help chefs with general vegetable prep duties.

Previous experience is not essential but would be advantageous to the successful candidate.

Full time work 45/48 hours per week working 5 days out of 7 with the occasional extra when covering Holidays.

Drink and meals provided when on duty.
