Offering a unique portfolio of office services and products, our client, a UK leader, is on the lookout for a Stock Planning Manager to join their team.
As the Stock Planning Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring there are appropriate stock levels available to achieve business objectives.
Ensuring that key account service levels and stocking targets are achieved to agreed time scales, you will produce forecasts and purchasing plans for all products. You will also communicate with suppliers throughout the purchasing cycle, from order creation to delivery.
Your other duties will include:
- Analysing new customer demand and subsequent stock holding
- Ensuring that our client’s database is maintained, reviewed and updated in a timely manner
- Analysing daily service level reports and investigating discrepancies
- Ensuring the database is updated and the delivery file is analysed upon receipt of products
To be considered, you must have:
- Experience within a stock or inventory role, such as stock planner, inventory planner or stock controller
- Intermediate to advanced IT skills, particularly using MS Office and Excel
As the Stock Planning Manager, you must be organised and proactive with superb communication and interpersonal skills. A methodical approach and the ability to create strong working relationships throughout the business are also key.
Experience of using Tool Group SO99 would be beneficial to your application.
