The Center for Financial Professionals is an international research and events company, producing international b-2-b commercial conferences and training courses for financial and risk professionals.

Successful event managers and producers are at the heart of any event – in-depth research, targeting appropriate market segments, effective programme writing, speaker procurement, and onsite management are just some of the areas of activity. You will be joining an established team within the fast-growing business producing industry leading international conferences in Europe and North America.

Different entry-level roles are available for either graduates looking to build a career within events, or more experienced producers looking to join a growing team and further develop their skills.  

The key roles and responsibilities:

  • To research and produce commercially viable conferences based on research through telephone calls and secondary research.
  • Identify new, interesting and viable topics and business topics within the agenda
  • To effectively write commercially viable programmes
  • To seek and confirm key industry professionals as presenters
  • The ability to work with sales and marketing colleagues
  • Managing your own portfolio of projects: you will be responsible for the overall success of the event you produce
  • Onsite management to ensure smooth running of the event

The person:

  • Strong academic background, educated to degree level
  • Commercial acumen, with an understanding of the sales and marketing process an advantage
  • Great research, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Energy, enthusiasm and desire in abundance, you will be self-motivated, pro-active and a problem solver to help achieve goals and targets
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and is willing to undertake some travel across Europe and USA.
