Accounts Senior - Part Time

£30,000 - £32,000 pro rata

This well established friendly small accountancy practice in Coventry requires an experienced accounts senior to work within a small team. Initially for 2 days a week until the end of January, but a strong possibility the position will be permanent after that. The role is to assist the main fee earner and take some of their workload, but duties will be varied and include the following:

- some bookkeeping work
- completion of VAT returns
- completion of accounts to draft stage from incomplete records
- review of work from less experienced staff and completion to draft stage
- completion of accounts files

The applicant must be familiar with Money Laundering rules and experience of VT Transaction and SAGE would be an advantage. Some basic tax knowledge would be helpful but tax and accounting qualifications not essential.

The salary is negotiable and subcontract workers would also be considered.
