Here at HMRC we collect the money that pays for public services, and help individuals with targeted financial support. Our work touches the lives of nearly every citizen in this country.

Across our Digital Communications services, we are introducing exciting new features and functionality. On an open source platform, our work ranges from designing and delivering websites, to designing and developing bespoke Drupal modules for our internal customers, to managing services including enterprise search. You’ll be at the heart of our evolution.

Your role

You’ll be responsible for planning and coordinating the delivery and assurance of digital solutions and websites. Directing, inspiring and proactively coaching a dedicated team, you’ll develop them into a recognised centre of expertise, providing specialist support on every aspect of digital communications. We will look to you build a culture of continuous improvement and peerless delivery, ensuring that key systems are regularly analysed, maintained and enhanced. Along the way, you will work closely with suppliers, other specialist teams, and stakeholders throughout the organisation - ensuring that digital solutions tackle every challenge and meet users’ needs.

Your credentials

To be equal to the challenge, you’ll need proven experience of designing, developing and delivering digital products with real customer benefits. Your web development skills span Drupal, HTML, Ajax, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, Flash and more. As a project manager, you are Prince 2 qualified and familiar with Agile, cloud and open source methodologies.
