Management Accountant - Maternity Cover

This company was created by passionate language teachers in 2009. They are based in Brighton and have offices in the Netherlands and Malaysia.

They are supporting schools and individual learners around the world to learn a second language. In addition to the 20 languages they offer, this year they have developed a solution to support the refugees across Europe. They are currently looking for an experienced Management Accountant to support their Financial Controller during their Maternity Leave.

What they are looking for?

They are currently looking for an experienced Management Accountant to support and cover the Financial controller while they are on Maternity leave. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of the finance department, month end processes, quarterly submissions and general office administration

Duties will include-
- Monthly Management accounts
- Invoicing and payments
- Credit control
- Bank reconciliations
- Cash flow
- Fixed assets
- Office administration
- Support HR
- Audit work for 2017 Audit
- Forecasts
- Vat Returns

The successful candidate will have the following skills, experiences and attributes
- Strong organisation skills
- Excellent attention to details
- Solid communication skills
- A strongly motivated self-starter able to work reliably without supervision
- High level of computer literacy and an ability to learn new systems quickly
- Highly proficient in Word and Excel
- Have the ability to work to tight deadlines
- CIMA/ACCA qualified or working towards
- Experience in a similar role

Person Specification

This will be a great experience for somebody looking to gain experience in all aspects of a Management Accounting role. You will be supported by the Financial Control but will need to be self-motivated and be able to work on your own. You will need to be highly organised and able to work under pressure in a small team
