About the role:

As the Operations Manager you will have excellent organisational skills to guide and direct the area supervisors who deliver their cleaning services with a team of 100 staff. Their work is currently predominantly central London based.

- You will oversee the delivery of cleaning services across their portfolio, monitoring quality standards and working with the team to strive for continuous improvement.

- You will bring commitment, pride and attention to detail which will support the achievement of high standards and high levels of customer satisfaction.

- As well as having cleaning services expertise and experience gained through a senior role on high value contracts, you will be keen to have a stake in a growing business and have a broad range of contacts.

- An important part of your role will be to identify and respond to potential opportunities for business.

- You will demonstrate experience in managing teams, coaching and motivating others and getting the best from people.

- You will be an effective communicator with strong customer service skills.

Essential Requirements:

- Experience of managing high value commercial cleaning contracts with a minimum value of £250,000.

- Experience of working in a senior role for a minimum term of 3 to 5 years.

- Experience of securing new business, preparing proposals and tenders.

- Experience of establishing quality processes; knowledge of ISO900 is desirable.

- People management experience.

- Full UK driving licence.
