HANDY PERSON/ASSISTANT CARETAKER

(Full/Part-Time)

REQUIRED FOR IMMEDIATE START

Woking College, a growing and successful sixth form College located in Woking, require a Handy Person/Assistant Caretaker.  The post involves working in a small friendly team with two full time and two part time staff carrying out maintenance tasks and providing security and caretaking services.  The successful candidate will be proficient in at least one trade, flexible to the changing demands of the post, take pride in their work, be reliable and punctual, be able to work without supervision and enjoy working as part of a team.

Salary: £19,000 a year (based on 40 hour week pro-rata if part time)

Hours of work: 8:00am to 5pm with flexibility for earlier start or later finish and occasional evening and weekend working 

Holidays: 22 days per year (pro-rata part time) rising to 25 days after 5 years’ service

Pension scheme available
