Sales person / Receptionist for Canary Wharf based Yoga Studio.

Our client, a busy yoga studio in Canary Wharf is looking for a dynamic receptionist (approx. 30-35 hours a week) who lives no more than 20 min away. Flexible hours required, including weekends. Morning shifts start at 6:00 am, evening shifts start between 4:30 and 5:30 pm.

Located 3 min from Canary Wharf Tube and DLR.

Applicant should ideally be Local. They will Not consider applicants who need to travel more than 20 min unless they drive to work. Prior experience in sales, reception, restaurant, health club or retail shop management, a university degree, and a keen fitness interest are a plus. Most important selection criterion is sales experience and salesmanship.

Sales Person / Receptionist - Requirements:

• Outgoing personality with good customer and communication skills.
• Good salesmanship / sales skills.
• Excellent people skills and presentation.
• Absolute fluency in English, including polished writing skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail (handling and tallying of cash; entering customer data without mistakes, placing orders).
• Ability to work fast under pressure.
• Excellent computer literacy with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to be proactive and take ownership, including seeing what needs to be done without prompting.
• General interest in fitness and health.

Position available immediately.

The work primarily consists of:

• Checking in customers at the reception desk.
• Recommending and selling packages and memberships (sales skills of utmost importance).
• Entering customers’ personal details into the company’s business management software.
• Tallying up daily revenue (cash, cards).
• Dealing with member enquiries, answering phone calls and emails.
• Opening and closing the studio.
• Ensuring general tidiness and upkeep of the premises.
