This is a unique opportunity to join our dynamic and creative team who deliver to our undergraduate programmes in pharmaceutical science (BSc Pharmaceutical Science, Technology & Business) and pharmacy (MPharm). The BSc programme aims to prepare graduates for successful careers in the pharmaceutical sciences but also to provide context in major aspects of pharmaceutical business management and entrepreneurship. The School therefore wishes to appoint a Lecturer who can contribute predominately to the teaching and assessment of the BSc Pharmaceutical Science, Technology & Business programme, with a particular emphasis industrial processes, practices and management. Contributions to the MPharm, research and appropriate administrative support are also expected. This role is one which can be aligned to the right applicant's talents and range of skills, including a range of activities to provide industry-focused academic input into the continuing development and delivery of the School's undergraduate programme portfolio.
You will have a PhD in pharmacy, physical sciences or biological sciences related to pharmaceutical development. You will have experience in undertaking internationally-competitive research in either academic or industrial environments. You must be able to deliver engaging teaching across a spectrum of curriculum areas relevant to the education of future pharmaceutical scientists and pharmacists.
