About the PLC / SCADA / Control Systems Engineer Role:

As a PLC & SCADA engineer you will work as part of a small team with 3 or 4 other engineers and a project manager. Together you will deliver complete projects to customers. Your team will be involved right from the start when the project is being bid up until the project is finally signed off by the customer. As a team it is your project and you will have total control over how it is done. Wherever possible teams build relationships with a particular customer and help them with all their PLC and SCADA needs. They become your customer.

On smaller projects you will do the complete project yourself. Clarify what is required from the customer, produce the design documents (e.g. I/O Schedule, FDS, Test Schedules), programme the PLC, configure the SCADA, test and commission. On larger projects you will work with one or more of your team mates to deliver the project.

Required Skills and Experience:

> A good understanding of PLC and SCADA systems.
> Experience of delivering automation projects through the full project lifecycle from initial design through to implementation on site.
> You will have a real desire to deliver fantastic projects to the customer.
