Weekend RECEPTIONIST

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a bright and enthusiastic Receptionist to join our lovely, friendly practice in Ashton Under Lyne located near Manchester and not far from the Peak District. Offering high quality, first opinion, small animal care, the surgery is dedicated to providing excellent care with gold standard client and animal care.

The role will include meeting and greeting clients and their pets, booking appointments, dealing with queries and taking payments. It’s a part time weekend role, working Saturdays and Sundays only, and you’ll be joining a lovely team of 4 other receptionists.

The successful candidate will ideally have previous reception and customer service experience, and feel comfortable liaising with clients. We’re also looking for computer literacy, confidence in picking up IT systems and an ability to multi-task and cope under pressure. Experience of working with animals would be advantageous but otherwise a demonstrable love for animals and a caring, empathic personality would be ideal.
