VETERINARY CARE ASSISTANT / RECEPTIONIST - PART TIME

PART TIME VETERINARY CARE ASSISTANT with RECEPTION DUTIES CROYDON, SOUTH LONDON.

Due to expansion and a growth in trade, our busy and established small animal surgery in Purley Way, Croydon is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our vibrant team as a Veterinary Care Assistant on a full time basis. The surgery is situated in the busy Purley Way shopping area within the Pets At Home store and has easy transport links and on-site parking.

As a local practice, our clients come to us from the surrounding area due to the friendly, professional and convenient service provided. We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service. Our surgery is committed to delivering affordable yet high quality care and is purpose built to leading industry standards with state of the art equipment including digital X-ray machine, in house lab, ultrasound, endoscope and operating theatre.

You will be joining a friendly and passionate team of three experienced vets, three fully qualified nurses, two student nurses a reception team and we have a shared love of pets and a strong team ethic. We offer training and development opportunities both in house and externally to develop your skills and we offer lots of hands on experience.Previous animal handling experience and/or relevant qualifications would be an advantage. You will also have occasional responsibility for covering reception so strong communication and organisation skills are also required for this customer facing responsibility.

The position is available from mid-September 2016 for 30 hours per week and will include Saturday and Sunday with two further week days each week.
