A Stockport school is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant from January 2017. The school is a large two form entry primary school and the Infants and Juniors are split into two buildings across the site. The staff team work hard to maintain the school's high standards and ensure that all children fulfil their potential. The successful candidate will be working alongside another HLTA and together you will be responsible for covering PPA sessions across the school.

Requirements:

  • Must be HLTA approved and/or have experience of covering classes across the key stages.
  • Be creative, motivated and committed.
  • Have excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to provide children with high quality learning experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the class teacher with planning and preparing lessons.
  • Attending staff meetings in order to feedback agenda to support staff team.
  • Liaising with class teacher as well as parents and carers over pupils' progress.
  • Assisting with extracurricular activities e.g. after school club.
