A Stockport Primary school is looking to appoint a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to work part time from January 2017 as an Intervention teacher. The role will be based in Year 6 and you will be responsible for delivering intervention in preparation for the Key Stage Two SATs. You will be required to work 20 hours per week Monday to Friday and the hours of work are negotiable for the successful candidate.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Sound knowledge of the KS2 Curriculum.
  • An ability to deliver high quality teaching.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Enthusiasm, creativity and motivation.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning, preparing & delivering interventions in Maths and English to all ability groups in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Adhering to school policies and procedures.
  • Communicating with staff over pupil's progress
  • Assisting with extracurricular activities, such as trips, sporting events, clubs etc.
