The UK factory (UKM) primarily specializes in the development and production of larger paper membranes for the Professional Audio industry. Sales Engineer (Audio)

 

The employee will work together with the R&D teams of our global customers. His technical input about our products will help them to optimize the sound of their loudspeakers.

Taks/Role:

  • Develop and grow revenue through consultative selling with clients, presenting a professional, well-spoken and caring persona.
  • Investigate issues reported by customers, and communicate with production and quality to resolve the issues.
  • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education, and after-sales support services
  • Visiting customer and make technical presentations, attending international trade shows in order to learn about market needs.
  • Taking ownership of customer enquiries, providing and submitting quotations, reading drawings and offering suggestions.
  • Developing long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements

Skills:

  • Hold a formal qualification in mechanical or electrical Engineering to Degree level or equivalent
  • An understanding of principles of loudspeaker is key to being able to offer advice on the products the company handles. Being an “Educated listener” would be beneficial
  • Excellent organization, administrative and communication skills.
  • Self drive to project completion within agreed timescales.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required.
