Home Care Support Workers required in the Worthing, Sompting, Billingshurst, Shoreham, Littlehampton, Lancing and surrounding areas to work various shifts.

They can provide you:

- £8ph Mon to Fri - £9ph weekends
- paid travel time between calls
- paid mileage @£0.45p/mile

Responsibilities:
- To assist service users who need help with getting up in the morning, dressing, undressing, washing, bathing and the toilet.
- To help service users with mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including incontinence and help in use and care of aids and personal equipment.
- To care for service users who are temporarily sick and needing, for example bed nursing, help with feeding etc.
- To help care for service users who are dying.
- To help in the promotion of mental and physical activity of service users through talking with them, taking them out, shopping etc. when directed in their individual care plan.
- To make and change beds; tidy rooms; light cleaning and empty commodes, catheter bags and stoma bags.
- To inspect, launder and mend service users clothing.
- To prepare light meals, wash up and clear kitchen area.
- To administer medication with the service users consent and following the strict guidelines of their Medication Policy.
- To read and write reports, care plans, and take part in staff and service users meetings and in training activities as directed.
- To perform such other duties as may reasonably be required.
