As the Microsoft Infrastructure Support Specialist, you’ll be tasked with providing day-to-day support to our Microsoft platform.

You’ll assist with 1st and 2nd line support tasks, deal with 3rd line support calls and take part in a variety of project activities, admin tasks and monthly patching.

Advancing the capabilities of Microsoft platforms, you’ll seek to enhance Ordnance Survey’s business effectiveness and efficiency and will provide our teams with training to bring them up-to-speed on the changes.

For the right candidate, once you have reached the appropriate skill level, you will have the chance to join the on-call team, providing out-of-hours support for our systems.

Interested? To be considered for this role, you must have:

- Solid experience supporting Microsoft platforms, including Office 365, Desktop, Server, SCCM, SCOM, AD and Azure
- Solid experience with Microsoft Office365 scripting and automation (PowerShell)
- Experience administering the Microsoft SharePoint platform, including Online, 2013 and 2016
- Experience with the VMware Platform
- A good level of computer literacy, administration, and support skills
