Assistant Marketing Manager

An Assistant Marketing Manager is sought to join the UK's largest leisure provider at their Head Office in Woolwich, South East London.

The organisation operates circa 250 leisure centres, pools, sports and community facilities across the UK. Their rapid growth has led to the expansion of the Marketing team and the need for an Assistant Marketing Manager to take responsibility for Regional Marketing.

As an Assistant Marketing Manager, you'll do things a little differently. Of course marketing-driven sales and memberships are a focus, but as a charitable social enterprise, the company wants their leisure facilities to have a genuine positive impact on the community.

Title: Assistant Marketing Manager
Location: Woolwich, South East London
Salary: up to £44,296 per annum, 40 hours a week pro rata + 8% bonus following qualifying period

The Assistant Marketing Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Supporting the Marketing Manager managing a team of 10 who are based across the UK
- Helping to shape the regional marketing strategy and implementing processes and procedures to allow new business bids, new centre openings, mobilisations and refurbishments
- Driving consistency across all marketing including print, digital, CRM and OOH
- Leading and inspiring regional teams and being a key influencer to a number of stakeholders

The ideal Assistant Marketing Manager will possess the following:
- Substantial experience in a Marketing role
- Significant team-management experience
- An organised, driven working attitude
- The flexibility to work with, and visit, numerous locations

The Assistant Marketing Manager role is extremely varied; you'll do everything from taking briefs to being a brand guardian for all regional artwork and strategizing campaigns to present at management forums. You'll need to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, where you'll be allowed to make your mark on a new regional structure.
