The National Museum Wales is seeking to appoint an Exhibiting Craftsperson – Slate Splitter to join our skilled team at the National Slate Museum, one of our prime heritage sites, which attracts well over 130,000 visitors a year.
The successful candidate will be technically qualified and be able to demonstrate traditional slate splitting techniques, communicating confidently with visitors in Welsh and English. You will also be responsible for working with others to develop opportunities for apprenticeships and work placements at the Museum
The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this role.
