Salary £21k rising to £24k after 1st year, 21 days holiday rising with service, company car, bonus scheme and pension and after qualifying period
Based: Bradford with some UK travel

This leading manufacturing business, employs 1100 staff across 27 locations in the UK.

The Role
They have created a new and exciting opportunity for a Graduate Engineer to join their Asset Care Team. Reporting to the Asset Care Manager, you will be responsible for supporting capital & logistics projects and continuous improvement.

You will be heavily mentored, coached, supported and directed to work across these projects, progressively increasing your knowledge and experience before assuming greater responsibility, ultimately for the successful delivery of objectives.

The successful candidate will progress into an operational management, project engineering or similar leadership role within a 3 year period.

The requirements
They are seeking candidates with a degree in an engineering or manufacturing discipline, ideally having gained some experience or possessing a basic understanding of manufacturing processes and lean and continuous improvement tools.

CAD skills are also desirable as there will be a need to create machine and layout drawings.

In addition, they are looking for candidates who display leadership qualities and potential, have good numerical and logic reasoning skills, excellent communication skills and above all else a willingness to learn combined with a strong can do attitude.

Applicants must hold a full UK Driving Licence.
